Overview

• The PANTHER study provides a platform for investigating the effectiveness of treatments for ARDS utilising phenotype point-of-care testing.

• The initial therapeutic agents due to be tested are Simvastatin (following on from an analysis of the HARP-2 dataset that suggested benefit in the pro-inflammatory phenotype of ARDS and Baricitinib (a JAK inhibitor).
